Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age of 22 years
- Enables one to drive a light truck with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3500kg and a maximum of 7500kg with one maximum one light trailer not exceeding 750kg
- Equipped with a manual or automatic gearbox
C Medium truck
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age of 24 years
- Two years’ experience of driving category C1
- Required to undergo training
- Enables one to drive a heavy truck with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 7500kg with maximum one trailer not exceeding 750kg
CE Heavy truck with trailer
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age of 28 years
- Four years experience of driving Category C
- Required to undergo training and retesting for category CE
- Equipped with manual or automatic gearbox
- Enables one to drive a heavy truck with a gross weight exceeding 7500kg with a trailer or semi-trailer
- Enables one to drive articulated vehicles (i.e., a vehicle with two or more parts that are connected so that they can move in different directions at the same time)
- Equipped with a manual or automatic gearbox

- Required to Undergo training and retesting for category D2
